David Lunny is a principal with Lunny MacInnes Law Corporation and member of the firm's Litigation department.   Mr. Lunny graduated with a degree in Political Economy and Economic History from the University of Glasgow in 1972.  In 1979 Mr. Lunny received his Bachelor of Laws degree from the University of British Columbia, where he was also Senior Editor of the U.B.C. Law Review.  Called to the Bar in British Columbia in 1980, he practiced as an associate and litigation partner at Farris and Co. prior to joining Devlin Jensen as senior litigation principal in 1992.  Devlin Jensen was reorganized in 2009 to Jensen Lunny MacInnes Law Corporation. Mr. Lunny has an established reputation as senior counsel with extensive trial and appellate experience in major civil and criminal cases at all court levels, trial and appellate, including the Supreme Court of Canada.  He has a broad background of practice before administrative and regulatory tribunals and in domestic and international commercial arbitrations, including those conducted elsewhere in North America, Europe and Asia.  Areas of practice include a very wide range of corporate and commercial litigation, alternative dispute resolution, international law, major tort, personal injury and family litigation. Mr. Lunny has been an occasional lecturer on legal subjects to the Continuing Legal Education Society of British Columbia, the Canadian Bar Association and the Trial Lawyers Association of British Columbia.  He has been a guest lecturer abroad on issues of international law.  In addition, Mr. Lunny has authored numerous legal articles and papers. Mr. Lunny is a member of the Law Society of British Columbia, the Canadian Bar Association and the British Columbia Trial Lawyers Association.  He is past Vice President of the Canadian Red Cross, BC - Yukon Division and has been involved in numerous other community interests.   E-Mail Mr. Lunny
